THE BROADWAY MUSICALS OF 1954 AT THE TOWN HALL
Sierra Boggess and Sean Palmer, the stars of Disney's The Little Mermaid will make their THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC - 212-997-1929 - http://www.the-townhall-nyc.org/ ) debuts with THE BROADWAY MUSICALS OF 1954 on Monday, April 7th at 8:00 pm.ĘThe Town Hall's critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year series, hosted by Scott Siegel, presents a musical snapshot of 1954, featuring songs and dances from The Pajama Game, Peter Pan, The Boy Friend, Fanny, The Golden Apple, House of Flowers, and more!

Scott Coulter will direct the show with musical direction by Ross Patterson.ĘThis one-night-only concert will also feature a dazzling line-up of Broadway/ Cabaret stars including Emily Skinner (The Full Monty/Side Show), Noah Racey (Curtains), Cheyenne Jackson (Xanadu), Kendrick Jones (Encores! Stairway to Paradise), Scott Coulter (The Stephen Schwartz Show). Created, written and hosted for The Town Hall by Scott Siegel.

1954 on Broadway was special because it marked the debut of the composing team of Adler and Ross and their The Pajama Game, the first of many musicals produced by Harold Prince. This was also the year that Julie Andrews made her Broadway debut in The Boy Friend, David Merrick produced his first musical - Harold Rome's Fanny, and Mary Martin made flying history with her unforgettable Peter Pan.
